Directions to Meeting Location
Turn on Main Street in Winfield at the former IGA Grocery Store. Go to the end of Main Street and veer right at the Winfield Town Hall. The Lions Club is on the river at the right rear of the Winfield Town Hall Building.
Directions to the Putnam County Gun Club
The Club range is located on the backside of the Putnam County Park.
Take I-64 to the Winfield exit, from Charleston turn right onto Rt. 34, or from Huntington turn left onto Rt. 34. Stay on Rt. 34 until you reach the intersection of Rt. 34 & 817. Turn right on Rt. 817 and travel to the Winfield bridge, cross the bridge, then turn left on Rt. 62 to the town of Eleanor, about 1 mile. Take the first road (E St.) on your right after the Gino’s, which will be on your left. Turn right on Park Road and continue until you get to the pool on your left, then make a right by the old school house, crossing over a small concrete bridge. Make another right onto the dirt/gravel road, continuing thru two gates (the first is the park gate and the second is the range gate), until you reach the Range.
